How I've developed strategic content that has transformed clients’ digital experiences
The Client: Haffner’s, a 100-year-old brand, offers gas stations, car washes, heating fuel delivery, and HVAC services across MA, NH, and ME.
My Work: I partnered with its marketers on a website redesign to modernize the company’s look, celebrate its 100-year legacy, and increase awareness about its services. Leveraging keyword research and Surfer SEO, I rewrote the client’s website from the ground up, completing 175+ pages in four months. I also created document templates that accelerate content entry in Sitecore XM Cloud by mapping out what components each piece of content should use.
The Result: A visually compelling site the client loves that leverages impactful messaging to drive key conversions like fuel delivery orders and car wash memberships.

The Client: EnergizeCT is an initiative dedicated to providing Connecticut consumers, businesses, and communities with the resources and information they need to make it easy to save energy and build a clean energy future for everyone in the state.
My Work: I collaborated with EnergizeCT’s stakeholders during a site redesign to reimagine copy for approximately 70 pages in three months. Leveraging subject matter research I conducted about the benefits of energy-efficient appliances and heating/cooling systems, I crafted fresh, more accessible copy about EnergizeCT’s programs that make them straightforward for its audiences to understand.
The Result: User-friendly, evergreen copy that resonates with Connecticut residents, much of which remains verbatim on the site today, almost 3 years later. Read this Velir blog post to learn more about the project, the work, and the results.
